The Rhode Island Breakers AAU basketball teams, a 501-C3 non-profit organization, featuring upwards of twenty teams, with players from ages 11 through 17, are a replica of the sports microcosm. In addition to teaching sound fundamental basketball skills, Breakers’ coaches stress the life values of friendship, respect for the individuality of each player, and the concepts of team play. Blended with an emphasis on self-discipline, respect, and organization, Breakers’ players not only prove to be winners on the court but also in life.
